YORK – Belief is powerful, and gutsy Indian Land High School clearly proved that in the Warriors’ stunning 14-9 comeback road win over Class AAAA York Comprehensive High School on Friday, Aug. 31.
The 2-1 Warriors definitely should believe in their defense, which had a huge goal-line stand, four interceptions and forced two huge turnovers on downs in the second half of Indian Land's emotional five-point win over the Cougars.
Indian Land has allowed 16 points in its last two wins, and shutout York in the second half.
