from Tropical Smoothie Cafe
The new Tropical Smoothie Cafe held its soft opening Friday, April 6, offering residents what the company calls “simply delicious fresh blended drinks and healthful meals.”
Tropical Smoothie’s newest 1,680-square-foot cafe features an island-inspired atmosphere.
The Indian Land cafe is owned by Peter and Linda Ruggiero of Fort Mill, who are excited to bring the flavor of the tropics to South Carolina residents.
“Our brand motto of ‘Eat better. Feel better.’ goes beyond a visit to the cafe – it’s about making the lives of our entire community better one step at a time,” Peter Ruggiero said.
“We are so happy to be a part of this wonderful community and look forward to serving great food and smoothies to everyone in Indian Land and the surrounding areas.”
The local Tropical Smoothie Cafe is part of one of the fastest-growing concepts in the country. The brand is known for providing made-to-order real-fruit smoothies, as well as toasted sandwiches, flatbreads, wraps and bowls/salads. It also offers breakfast menu items and housemade sides, such as its signature kale apple slaw.
The cafe is at 9695 Red Stone Drive, Suite 200, in Indian Land’s new RedStone entertainment and commercial complex. Its hours are 7 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday.
