A Charlotte teen was arrested in Indian Land for trafficking cocaine and possession of marijuana with intent to sell after a curious deputy followed a hunch and tailed the teen’s car.
Justus Blake Mendler, 19, was arrested March 5 in an incident that began shortly before midnight at the Indian Land McDonald’s.
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office incident report said a deputy was patrolling the restaurant parking lot when he saw Mendler’s Ford Focus pull out and noticed the three passengers in the car watching him as they rode away.
