Sun City veterans enjoy free golfing

To celebrate local American heroes, the fairways at Carolina Lakes Golf Club were turned over to U.S. veterans in honor of Veterans Day 2017.
A total of 140 vets took to the course Nov. 8, despite the cold, for a day of camaraderie and courage, with holes to be tackled and prizes to be won.
Carolina Lakes Golf Club opened its course to the veterans for a day of complimentary golf. The golf course provided each foursome with a golf cart, range balls and other necessities. Fidelity gave each veteran a sleeve of golf balls.
