Dixie Baseball registration set
Lancaster Dixie Baseball registration will be held Fridays and Saturdays in January. The dates are Jan. 4-5, Jan. 11-12, Jan. 18-19 and Jan. 25-26.
Registration is 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Fridays, and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays at United Fork Lift office, 2175 McIlwain Road, Lancaster.

CPTC registration set for 2019 season
The Columbus Parker Track Club will hold registration for the 2019 AAU Track and Field season 6-7 p.m. Jan. 14 and Jan. 29 at the Lancaster Fatherhood Project, 105 S. Wylie St., Lancaster.
CPTC ages 5-18 are accepted with a copy of birth certificate. The registration fee is $65. Payment plan or hardship waivers will be accepted.
Practice starts Feb. 4.

Buford area turkey shoot
The annual turkey shoot behind Buford Little General Store, 1897 N. Rocky River Road, Lancaster, is 6 p.m. Fridays through Dec. 28. Participants must bring their own stock guns. For details, call Monty Craig at (803) 320-9712.
Dixie Baseball turkey shoots
Lancaster Dixie Baseball holds its annual fall turkey shoot fundraiser each Saturday through the end of the year at the Gooches Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department, 1594 Grace Ave., Lancaster.
The shoot begins at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. Cost is $3 per round with 10 targets per round.
Lancaster Dixie Baseball offers youth baseball for players ages 6-14 at the Wylie Park Complex in Lancaster. Funds raised at the shoot support the program.
