Steele Hill revival services end today
Steele Hill AME Zion Church, 6021 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster, will  wrap up its revival services at 7 p.m. Aug. 22, with the Rev. Eldren D. Morrison of Atlanta, Ga., speaking. All are welcome. For details, call (803) 285-7850.

St. John’s UMC posts events
St. John’s United Methodist Church, 160 Tom Hall St., Fort Mill, will hold the following events:
• St. John’s Grief Support Group meets at 4:30 p.m. every other Wednesday. The next meeting is Aug. 22.
• The Gourmet Travelers Lunch, sponsored by Family Ministries, is for those members who normally eat alone. This month’s lunch will be 11:15 a.m. Aug. 25 at Bob Evans Restaurant, 520 John Ross Parkway, Rock Hill. Email Hmyers@unifieday.com to RSVP.
• A St. John’s chancel choir workshop will be 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Aug. 28. Lunch is provided.

Temple Solel meets Aug. 24
Temple Solel, a Reform Jewish congregation, holds Shabbat services at 7 p.m. the second and fourth Fridays of each month in the community room at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 292 Munn Road, Fort Mill. Leadership training Aug. 25
The S.C. Baptist Convention and Moriah Baptist Association will host Sunday School-Life Group Leadership Training from 9 a.m.-noon Aug. 25 at Covenant Baptist Church, 165 Craig Manor Road, Lancaster.
Registration is 8:30-9 a.m. in the fellowship hall with the general session at 9 a.m., led by Bobby Howard introducing “3 Circles Evangelism.” Breakout sessions will follow at 9:45 a.m. There will be sessions for general officers, pastors, adults, youth, children and nursery-preschool.

Moriah Stewardship Banquet Aug. 28

The Moriah Baptist Association will host the 2018 Moriah Stewardship Banquet at 6 p.m. Aug. 28 at First Baptist Church, 300 S. Market St., Lancaster. A buffet meal will be served and King’s Cause will present a concert. The Rev. Ken Owens, collegiate minister for the S.C. Baptist Convention, will speak. Belair pantry open Sept. 6
The food pantry at Belair United Methodist Church, 8095 Shelley Mullis Road, is open 9 a.m.-noon Sept 6. The pantry is for those who live in the Panhandle schools attendance area. Anyone in need of food is welcome on the first and third Thursday of each month. Donations of food or money are also welcome at the church office from 9 a.m. to noon weekdays.

AA meets weekly at Belair
Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 7 p.m. Wednesdays at Belair United Methodist Church, 8095 Shelley Mullis Road. Meetings are open discussion, with speakers on third Wednesdays.

NAMI support groups meet
