Faith Presbyterian Church of Indian Land is sponsoring a Second Harvest mobile food pantry Thursday, Nov. 9.
With the opening of Faith’s worship center last month, the pantry location has been moved to the parking lot of the new Faith Presbyterian Church, 7520 Charlotte Highway (U.S. 521) at the intersection of Van Wyck Road.
Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the distribution of food should begin at about 9 a.m.
Food is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until it is gone.
Recipients must meet the income-eligibility guidelines established by the USDA.
An acceptable form of ID is required at the time of registration.
This pantry is open to all who are in need in our communities.
Belair United Methodist Church continues to operate a food pantry for Indian Land residents twice a month. Donations of food and/or cash may be dropped off at the Belair church office from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday. Please continue to support this important ministry in Indian Land.
