Lady Warriors fall in Battle of the Border tourney

WAXHAW, N.C. – The Indian Land High School Lady Warriors lost two games in the Battle of the Border basketball tournament held at Marvin Ridge High School.
The ILHS girls opened play on Nov. 20, falling 28-16 to Marvin Ridge.
On Nov. 21, the Lady Warriors fell to Cuthbertson High School, 56-7.
Lady Warriors first-year head coach Paul Richardson said he was encouraged by his team’s play in the first game.
“It was a decent game until the end when Marvin Ridge pulled away,” Richardson said.
