Lady Warriors blank LHS booters

The Indian Land Lady Warriors forged a 5-0 halftime lead on the way to a 7-0 win over Lancaster High School in girls high school soccer at ILHS’s Reservation on April 3.
Summer Bishop and Kiley Waterbury scored two goals each to lead the Lady Warriors, who improved to 11-3-1 with the shutout win. Summer Bishop also had two assists.
Brianna Bishop, Emily Gerdes and Kelsey Long each tallied a goal for the winners. Brianna Bishop added an assist.
Indian Land had 32 shots on goal, while Lancaster had one.
Emma Thompson earned the shutout in goal with a save.
Lydia Plyler posted 17 saves for the Lady Bruins, who fell to 6-8 on the season with the loss.
