Faith Presbyterian to host food truck April 4

Faith Presbyterian Church, 7520 Charlotte Highway, Indian Land, will sponsor a Second Harvest Mobile Food Pantry on April 4.
The food truck will be in the parking lot of the church building at the intersection of Charlotte Highway (U.S. 521) and Van Wyck Road.
Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., and the distribution of food should begin about 9 a.m.
Food is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, until it is gone.
Recipients must meet USDA income eligibility guidelines. An acceptable form of ID is required at the time of registration.
This distribution is open to all who are in need in our communities.
At the church’s Nov. 14 mobile pantry, a total of 9,611 pounds of food was distributed to more than 180 families. Recepients re-ceived milk, bread products, salads, cereals, sugar, flour, plantains, bottled drinks, snacks and dry goods, along with a turkey donated by Faith and Second Harvest.

Belair pantry
Belair UMC continues to operate a food pantry for Indian Land residents twice a month at 8095 Shelley Mullis Road. It is usually open open 9 a.m.-noon the first and third Thursday of each month. Donations of food or cash may be dropped off at the Belair church office from 9 a.m. to noon weekdays. Please support this important ministry in Indian Land.
