From Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office reports:
◆ A Fort Mill woman was injured Feb. 19, when a car ran off Charlotte Highway and struck her near Sun City Carolina Lakes.
The 71-year-old woman was walking on private property when Benjamin Adam Sinderbrand, 30, of Fort Mill ran his 2016 Kia into her, according to S.C. Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Gary Miller.
The woman was transported to a nearby medical facility by EMS.
Sinderbrand is charged with leaving the scene of an accident with injury. He paid a $5,000 bond and was released Feb. 25.
◆ A man reported the theft of a green and black Honda Recon all-terrain vehicle Jan. 25 from a home on Henry Harris Road. The four-wheeler is estimated at $1,600 and was driven from the home shortly before midnight.
Tire tracks showed deputies what direction the suspect drove and an Axe body spray can, believed to have been dropped by the suspect, was found on the trail. A traffic complaint was also made the same night when four-wheelers and dirt bikes were seen traveling down Henry Harris Road.
◆ A vehicle was broken into Jan. 28 at Town Place Suites on Red Ventures Drive. The passenger side window of the truck was smashed and ripped from the window frame.
Damage to the truck is estimated at $750 and more than $3,400 in electronics and personal items were taken. Some of the items taken from the truck were a 55-inch LG flat-screen TV, two 27-inch flat-screen computer monitors, a Lenovo Yoga 370 laptop, Dell Latitude laptop and a Samsung MPT laptop.
The victim of the theft was alerted by his bank when a fraudulent charge was made that night using his debit card.
