Chamber’s After 5! Mix-n-Mingle May 30

Chili’s restaurant to cut ribbon June 3
The new Chili’s restaurant in Indian Land will hold its ribbon-cutting 11 a.m.-noon June 3, with the help of the Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce and local officials. The restaurant is at 7704 Charlotte Highway in The Promenade at Carolina Reserve. All are welcome to attend.
SBDC offers free business services
The Small Business Development Center offers free business services June 6 (first Thursday of each month) at the Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce, 453 Colonial Ave., Lancaster.
Business consultant Eduardo Venegas offers business planning, financing options, marketing assistance, sales and growth strategies, financial management, human resources, veterans and minority business programs and resources and referrals.

LSWCD pasture workshop June 6
The Lancaster Soil and Water Conservation District Board will kick off its June Summer Series with a pasture management workshop for landowners 10 a.m.-3 p.m. June 6 in the meeting room of the Historic Courthouse, 104 N. Main St., Lancaster.
The workshop will address fencing and pasture management concepts for all grazing animals. Topics include transitioning from infected KY31 to Friendly Endophyte Fescue, insect and weed issues in pastures, the importance of soil sampling, interpreting soil sample results, NRCS programs, rainfall simulation and a fencing demonstration.
Admission is $10 per person, which includes lunch and program materials.
