Withers letter: Juvenile thieves need to ‘grow up’

-A A +A

Early Sunday morning, between 2:30 a.m. and dawn, my car was broken into.
The thieves took my GPS (global positioning system) and $5 I kept as emergency gas money. I figure they were on foot and probably juvenile by the way they left my car.
I am not mad, since the GPS was two years old and not worth much, but I am annoyed that people, regardless of age, walked up my driveway and felt it was OK to take what was not theirs.
I work two part-time jobs and run my own video production business. I am doing my best to divide my time between here and helping my sick grandmother in Florida.
We all have things going on in our lives, but that does not give anyone the right to run around in the dark and take what other people have worked hard for.
So, if you know who did this, please tell them for me to “grow up.” And fellow neighbors, keep an eye out.
It’s not OK for people to behave this way.
