Wedding: Pope, Morse wed in July

Taylor Virginia Pope and Christopher Andrew Morse II were married July 30, 2011, in Charleston.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Pope of Monroe, formerly of Lancaster. She is the granddaughter of Amelia Gardner of Lancaster and the late Bruce Gardner and the late Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Pope. She is a graduate of Goose Greek High School, a graduate of Clemson University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a graduate of the University of Alabama-Birmingham with a master’s degree in nursing. She is a pediatric nurse practitioner at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Morse of Southbridge, Mass. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Motyka of Southbridge and the late Pauline Motyka and the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald Morse. He is a graduate of Holy Name Central Catholic High School and a graduate of Liberty University with a bachelor’s degree in aeronautics. He is a pilot with American Eagle Airlines.
Best man was Jonathan Bullock of Raleigh, N.C.
Groomsmen were Joseph Hatch of Lakeland, Fla., Ben Pratt of Aurora, Colo., Dennis Rivera of Southbridge and Josh Clark of Lynchburg, Va.
The bride’s father gave her in marriage.
Maid of honor was Kimberly Robinson of Burbank, Calif. Matron of honor was Lauren Edmondson of Birmingham, Ala. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Pope of Clemson and Sarah Pope of Anderson, sisters of the bride, Sarah Morse of Southbridge, sister of the groom,  Carey Carrick and Amy Walters, both of Charleston, Ashley Whitley of Charlotte, Allison Forman of Dallas and Memory Stein of Greenville.
Flower girl was Emily Walters of Charleston. Ring bearer was Mitchell Walters of Charleston.
Greeter was Ali Napier of Tuscaloosa, Ala. Guestbook attendant was Brooke Cocklin of Dallas.
Music was provided by Derek and Laurie Parsons of Easley and Dave Conley and David Benedict of Clemson.
The bride wore a strapless dress highlighted by a taffeta bodice with cascading floral appliques covering the dress from the waistline to the chapel-length train.
Her bird cage veil was highlighted with beading and flowers.
She carried a loose, hand-tied bouquet of wildflowers with palm fronds. She carried the handkerchief of her great-grandmother, Hattie Sistare, tied with her maternal grandmother’s engagement ring to honor her late grandfather, Bruce Gardner.
A reception was held at the Doubletree Hotel in Charleston.
After a trip to Grand Cayman Islands, the couple lives in Dallas.
