GREENVILLE – Indian Land went on the road and came home an upset winner to open the Class AAA Upper State boys basketball playoffs Tuesday, Feb. 13.
The third-seeded Warriors, 11-13, used a strong start to take a 62-49 win over Berea, a second seed in the Class AAA Upstate playoffs.
“In our final regular season game at Fairfield Central, we said it was like a playoff game because it was on the road and we knew we were going to be on the road for the playoffs,” ILHS coach Nate Smith said.
