IL Rec Center to host Hawg Tuff camp
Wingate University and Hawg Tuff Camps will be doing a youth football mini-camp at the Indian Land Recreation Complex on July 21.
Wingate coaches and players will lead the camp.
Campers will receive two hours of instruction on an offensive position and two hours of instruction on a defensive position.
Cost is $10 per camper. Campers can purchase a camp T-shirt for an extra $5.

Pope is a former Indian Land head football coach, who also served as an assistant coach at Lancaster High School.


Register now for county swim lessons

Lancaster County Parks and Recreation Commission will offer swim lessons July 9-20 for ages 3-18 at the Lancaster County pool. Classes are 9 to 9:50 a.m., 10 to 10:50 a.m. and 11 to 11:50 a.m.
The fee is $45 for the first child in a family, $40 for the second child in the same family and $30 for the third child in the same family.

ILHS season passes, more available now
Indian Land High School is now selling season passes, booster club memberships, program ads and stadium signs for the 2012-13 school year.

Kids on the Ball offers camp

The Kids on the Ball program will offer a summer sports camp at Indian Land Elementary School from 9 a.m. to noon July 9-12.
The camp is open to boys and girls in grades kindergarten to fifth grade living in the Indian Land/Lancaster area. Campers will participate in two or more sports and character-building activities each day.
Cost is $75 per session, which includes T-shirt and equipment. Ten percent of the fee will be donated back to Indian Land Elementary School to buy books for its media center.
