Golf tournament for ILHS football June 1

The first Indian Land High School varsity football fundraiser golf tournament begins at 1 p.m. June 2 at Carolina Lakes Golf Course in Sun City. The cost is $125 per player or $500 for a group of four. Register now for summer junior golf

Register now for the Lancaster chapter of the S.C. Junior Golf Association. Players, boys and girls ages 6-17 and students in school, are eligible. Register at SCJGA.org, or call Lancaster chapter director Raymon Chisom at (803) 804-7787, or (803) 283-4653. The opening tournament is June 5.

County swimming pool offers lessons

The Lancaster County Parks and Recreation swimming pool, 106 S. Wylie St., Lancaster, offers swim lessons June 5-15, June 19-29 and July 10-20. Cost is $50 per person.

The county pool is open to the public 3-5 p.m. Monday-Friday, noon-5 p.m. Saturday and 1:30-4:30 p.m. Sunday. It will be closed June 1, 5 and 15.

ILHS offers three volleyball camps

Indian Land High School, 8063 River Road, will host three Premiere Volleyball Training Camps for rising ninth- through 12th-grade girls from any area school this summer.

The June 12-14 championship camp will offer high intensity and advanced-level position training, scrimmages and more. Hours are 1-4 p.m. June 12-13 and 1-4:30 p.m. June 14. Cost is $175.

The July 10-11 hitting camp is for outside, middle and right side hitters. Hours are 6:30-9 p.m. Cost is $125.

The July 17-18 digging camp will focus on serving, passing and digging. Hours are 6:30-9 p.m. Cost is $125.

Warriors baseball hosts youth camp

The Indian Land High School Warriors baseball team will host its youth baseball camp 8 a.m.-noon June 27-29. The camp is open to ages 6-12, with a cost of $60 per person. Register at the ilwarriors.com website.
