Loughry makes most of his return

Warriors QB bounces back from injury

By Robert Howey

Indian Land High School senior quarterback David Loughry defied the odds this season.
Loughry, a three-year starter for the Warriors, wasn’t a lock to be back under center for 2017.
Loughry suffered a tough injury last season, breaking his femur, the longest and strongest bone in the body.
Loughry broke the thigh bone in the Warriors’ fifth game last season, and his return time to be back with the Warriors was estimated at 12 months.
But the determined Loughry made it back in little more than half that time, coming back in seven months.
