IL Democratic Club to meet Thursday
All Democrats are invited to the Indian Land Democratic Club meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 28, in the Del Webb Library meeting room, 7641 Charlotte Highway. The guest speaker will be Carolinas Literacy Network Executive Director Kathryn Wilds.

Conservation board to meet Monday
The Lancaster Conservation District board of commissioners will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, July 2, at the district office, 1771 U.S. 521 Bypass South, Lancaster.

Van Wyck groups to meet Tuesday
The Van Wyck Crime Watch will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, followed by the Van Wyck Community Development Club at  7:30 p.m. Both groups meet at the Van Wyck Community Center, 5036 Old Hickory Road.

Sun City Republican Club to meet Tuesday
The Sun City Carolina Lakes Republican Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, in The Lake House. Open to Sun City residents  only. For details, call Michael J. Nellenbach, (803) 547-6167.
