There will be a special meeting of Lancaster County Council to discuss the  2012-13 budget at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, in council chambers at the Lancaster County Administration Building, 101 N. Main St., Lancaster.

Van Wyck groups to meet Tuesday
The Van Wyck Crime Watch will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, followed by the Van Wyck Community Development Club at  7:30 p.m. Both groups meet at the Van Wyck Community Center, 5036 Old Hickory Road.

Planning Commission to meet June 7
The Lancaster County Planning Commission will meet at 6 p.m. June 7 in Room 224 of the Lancaster County Administrative Building, 101 N. Main St., Lancaster.

The Lancaster County Democratic Party will honor Rick C. Wade, senior adviser of Obama for America and the Democratic National Convention Committee, for his years of public service at 7 p.m. June 8 in the Fairway Room of the Lancaster Golf Club.
