This month, it will meet from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, and from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 29 at the Del Webb Library, 7641 Charlotte Highway.

The Lancaster Historical Commission will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, and 6 p.m. Feb. 21 at the Lancaster County Library, 313 S. White St., Lancaster.

First Steps seeks board nominations
The Lancaster County First Steps to School Readiness Partnership seeks nominations for additional board members. Nominations may come from anyone in the county and should be forwarded to the Lancaster County First Steps office, 121 S. Wylie St., Lancaster, by March 1. Veterans to hold flag ceremony May 21
The Lancaster County Veterans Affairs Office, in conjunction with several veterans organizations, will raise the U.S. Merchant Marines flag at 10 a.m. May 21, at the Lancaster County Administration Building, 101 N. Main St., Lancaster.
Veterans are invited and refreshments will be served. For details, call (803) 283-2469.
The next veterans flag ceremony will be 10 a.m. June 14 when the U.S. Army flag will be raised.
