United Way seeks annual review volunteers
The United Way of Lancaster County is seeking applicants to volunteer to serve on its Community Impact Panel. All applications to volunteer will be reviewed by the United Way’s Community Impact Committee for approval.
After training, panel members will tour and review United Way partner agency programs throughout the county.  Panel members will work as a team to develop investment recommendations for 2012-13. The total time commitment is about 10-15 hours from March through May.

Veterans to hold flag ceremony May 21
The Lancaster County Veterans Affairs Office, in conjunction with several veterans organizations, will raise the U.S. Merchant Marines flag at 10 a.m. May 21, at the Lancaster County Administration Building, 101 N. Main St., Lancaster.
Veterans are invited and refreshments will be served.
The next veterans flag ceremony will be 10 a.m. June 14 when the U.S. Army flag will be raised.
