The Van Wyck Crime Watch will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, followed by the Van Wyck Community Development Club at 7:30 p.m. Both groups meet at the Van Wyck Community Center, 5036 Old Hickory Road.
Historical Commission to meet Tuesday
The Lancaster Historical Commission will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, and 6 p.m. Feb. 21 at the Lancaster County Library, 313 S. White St., Lancaster.
Health/wellness commission to meet
The Lancaster County Health and Wellness Commission will meet from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 8 at the Lancaster County School District office, 300 S. Catawba St., Lancaster. A light lunch will be provided.
Joint rec commission to meet Feb. 14
The Joint Recreation Commission for Lancaster County will meet at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 14 at Springdale Recreation Complex, 260 S. Plantation Road, Lancaster.
First Steps seeks board nominations
The Lancaster County First Steps Partnership seeks nominations for additional board members. Nominations may come from anyone in the county and should be forwarded to the Lancaster County First Steps office, 121 S. Wylie St., Lancaster, by March 1. Veterans to hold flag ceremony May 21
The Lancaster County Veterans Affairs Office, in conjunction with several veterans organizations, will raise the U.S. Merchant Marines flag at 10 a.m. May 21, at the Lancaster County Administration Building, 101 N. Main St., Lancaster.

The next veterans flag ceremony will be 10 a.m. June 14 when the U.S. Army flag will be raised
