Michelle Antoinette Gordon of Indian Land and Danny Ray Elich of Kunsan Air Base, South Korea, were married at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 11, 2011, at the U.S. Embassy in Seoul, South Korea, by Vice Consular Officer Erik T. Finch.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Anona Gordon of Indian Land.
She is a graduate of Indian High School and Clemson University a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a military nurse corps officer in the U.S. Air Force.
The groom is the son of Theresa Elich of O’Fallon, Mo., and the late Theodore Elich.
He is a graduate of Adolfo-Camarillo High in Camarillo, Calif., and the University of the Pacific in Stockton, Calif., with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in exercise physiology. He is a military aerospace physiology officer in the U.S. Air Force.
The bride wore an ivory scalloped sweater dress with a salmon pink wool knee-length skirt.
A small reception was held at the bride’s parents’ home in Indian Land.
The couple will live at Kunsan Air Base until June. They plan to permanently change station in July to Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
