Deputies are looking for a man who tried to rob TD Bank in Indian Land on Friday afternoon.
The man entered the Charlotte Highway bank about 4 p.m. wearing a suit, baseball hat and sunglasses, according to a Lancaster County Sheriff's Office press release.
The man, believed to be about 40, showed a teller a note that demanded money, the release said.
“The teller refused to give the suspect money and the suspect fled the store empty-handed,” the release said. “The suspect is believed to have fled the scene in a white-colored truck with a diamond-plate tool box.”
The suspect is described as a white man who had at least one bandage on the right side of his face.
No one was injured during the robbery attempt, the release said.
