Palmer Kane Crawford, the son of Eric Crawford and Katherine Brookins of Fort Mill, was born Dec. 19, 2011, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. Maternal grandparents are Terrence and Candace Brookins of Waxhaw, N.C. Paternal grandparents are Gene and Judy Crawford of Rutherfordton, N.C.

Massimo Sarwat Said, the son of Sarwat Said and Nermin LotFalla of Indian Land, was born Dec. 30, 2011, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Bahgat LotFall of Alexandria, Egypt. Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Massoud Said of Alexandria, Egypt.
