A listing of Indian Land area criminal activity

From Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office reports:
• A Chester man was questioned May 4 after he was seen licking several customers inside the Indian Land Walmart, 10048 Charlotte Highway. The 48-year-old man was escorted to the store’s loss prevention office, while employees showed a deputy a video of the man licking people inside the store. A customer refused to press charges, so the man was issued a trespassing noticed by the store.
• A condemned building was destroyed in a fire May 5. The empty house at 1048 Camp Cox Circle was in the process of being demolished when it caught fire and burned down. The property’s owners were tearing it down and told deputies an errant cigarette may have started the fire. Estimated damage is unknown.

If you know anything about these incidents, please call the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office at (803) 547-5933 or (803) 283-4136.
