Curtsinger recertified as ABVP diplomate

Dr. Dane Curtsinger, veterinarian at Curtsinger Animal Hospital, has successfully maintained his certification as a diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) specializing in both canine and feline medicine.

ABVP requires diplomates to maintain certification every 10 years. This process demonstrates that diplomates have kept up with changes and advancements in veterinary practice. Diplomates must take and pass a challenging examination or accumulate credits for continuing education and other professional activities in order to maintain certification.

Curtsinger is a graduate of the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. He has owned Curtsinger Animal Hospital at 9955 Charlotte Highway for 13 years. Curtsinger became a diplomate of the ABVP in 1998.

There are only 381 canine/feline diplomates in the United States and only three in South Carolina.
