Chamber After 5!   Mix & Mingle! Oct. 12

The Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce will hold an After 5! Mix & Mingle! 5-7 p.m. Oct. 12 at the Carolina Lakes Golf Club in Sun City, 23012 Kingfisher Drive, Indian Land. The event is sponsored by Founders Federal Credit Union and door prizes will be given away.

Lancaster Vendor Blender Oct. 14

Preppy Pineapple, 400 N. Main St., Lancaster, holds a Vendor Blender 11 a.m.-2 p.m. the second Saturday of each month. The next event is Oct. 14. Women business owners are invited to set up a small table to display products or to promote their business. Tables are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one of each type of vendor may reserve a spot for each event to prevent competing vendors from promoting on the same day. ‘7 Habits’ training program Oct. 24-25

Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce will hold a personal leadership development training program called “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” on Oct. 24 and 25 at INSP, 3000 WorldReach Drive, Indian Land. Sun City Carolina Lakes Fresh Produce Market is open 9 a.m.-noon Wednesdays through September in the parking lot and pavilion of the Sun City Lodge on the corner of Del Webb and Sun City boulevards. It has local vendors’ booths offering vegetables, breads, eggs, baked goods, dressings, nuts, cheese, pickles and knife sharpening. The market is open to all, not just Sun City residents. Farmstand open on Marvin Road

The Indian Land Farmstand, 228 Marvin Road, run by S.C. Truffieres & Howell Specialty Farmz, offers fresh vegetables, including purple tomatoes, eggs and honey. It is open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sundays.
