Chiropractor to hold ribbon-cutting Jan. 19
Carolina Chiropractic & Wellness, owned by Dr. Adam Cooper, will celebrate its grand re-opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, at the remodeled office, 8763 Charlotte Highway. The ceremony will be followed by an open house with refreshments from 5 to 7 p.m., showcasing the recently expanded facilities and new treatment and therapy options.
Chamber’s annual meeting is Jan. 26
The Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual “Wine & Stein!” meeting Jan. 26 to celebrate the chamber’s accomplishments in 2011 and kick-off the new chamber year. The meeting will be highlighted by the presentation of the 2011 Lancaster County Volunteer of the Year, Lancaster County Small Business of the Year and the Citizenship and Service awards.
A+ Embroidery moves to new location
A+ Embroidery, owned by Chris and Libby Venditti, has moved to 1041 Zimmer Road, off Marvin Road at Henry Harris Road. It was formerly located beside Carolina Chiropractic & Wellness on Charlotte Highway.
Healthy Woman fifth anniversary Feb. 23
Healthy Woman, a Springs Memorial Hospital women’s health initiative, will celebrate its fifth anniversary from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Feb. 23 at the Fairway Room, 1840 Spring Club Road, Lancaster. Guest speaker will be Kelly Swanson, who will speak on “Who Hijacked My Fairytale?”
Tickets are $10 each. To buy tickets, visit the Healthy Woman office on the first floor of Springs Memorial, 800 W. Meeting St., Lancaster. Deadline to buy tickets is Feb. 9.
