Bolt, Warriors stun Trojans in Wheels baseball tourney

ILHS shuts out AAAAA defending state champ

ROCK HILL – The Indian Land Warriors turned heads with their win in the second day of the Wheels Invitational baseball tournament in Rock Hill.
The Warriors, behind the stellar mound work of ace senior hurler Nolan Bolt, knocked off Northwestern High School 6-0 on Thursday, April 5.
The Trojans, the top-ranked team in Class AAAAA baseball, are the Class AAAAA defending state baseball champions.
Bolt, who committed to Pitt Community College on Thursday, earned the victory, throwing a complete-game shutout with seven strikeouts. He allowed two hits and a walk.
